West Coast talent identified at id2 Training Camp in California<\/h2>\n

DAVIS, Calif. (April 26, 2022)<\/strong> \u2013 The first id2 Training Camp in over a year was held April 22-24 at Davis Legacy Soccer Club in Davis, California. The camp served as the penultimate event of the age group cycle targeting 2008 boys and 2007 girls. A total of 61 athletes were selected to attend, with 35 boys and 26 girls representing 35 clubs from the West Coast and Hawaii. Training schedules were comprised of daily field and classroom sessions, including two on-field sessions on Friday and Saturday, along with multiple presentations from id2 Program directors and coaches.<\/p>\n

Ahead of playing full scrimmages on Sunday morning, the athletes were coached through various tactical and technical exercises, such as building out of the back and attacking team shape.<\/p>\n

They also received presentations from their coaches on topics ranging from keeping a calm psyche to defensive and attacking principles.<\/p>\n
