The player registration fee increase is the first since the 2015-16 season.<\/p>

Registration opens June 1, 2023 for the 2023-24 registration year, which spans July 1, 2023 to July 31, 2024.<\/p>

^Background screening is valid for two registration years (the current and the subsequent).<\/p>

^As indicated in last month\u2019s Safeguarding & Compliance member update<\/a>, US Club Soccer is upgrading its domestic background screening to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) standard, effective with the 2023-24 registration year. Accordingly, US Club Soccer is reducing the competitive staff registration fee (-$10 over two registration years) to more than offset the increased pass-through cost of USOPC-standard background screening (+$8.85 over two registration years).<\/p>
