One of the best ways to prevent abuse and misconduct abuse is to recognize the signs of grooming and bullying behavior. With that in mind, below are some free resources from the U.S. Center for SafeSport that may help you, as a parent, as well as your child.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>We encourage each of you to complete these trainings on an annual basis and share them throughout your club.<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To complete the training, please log in or sign up for a varied ages and their parents or caregivers. A parent or legal guardian should create an account to provide consent for their child to access the training. Once that account is created, parents can choose from either:<\/p><ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li><strong>SafeSport for Kids<\/strong>\u00a0(ages 5-12, 15 minutes). This course educates young athletes about the difference between discipline and abuse and encourages them to reach out to a trusted adult when something is not right. It also stresses the importance of being a good teammate, positive sportsmanship, and having a healthy sport environment focused on fun and safety.<\/li><li><strong>SafeSport for Youth Athletes<\/strong>\u00a0(ages 13-17, 15 minutes). This course (15 minutes) is intended for youth athletes ages 13+ and educates them about bullying and hazing prevention, tips for positive online interactions, and reporting of sexual abuse and misconduct.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c14bfaa elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget href=\"https:\/\/uscenterforsafesport.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Parent-Toolkit_Complete-1.pdf\">Parent Toolkit<\/a>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
