Only one course needs to be completed each year, and please note that the <strong>SafeSport for Youth Players<\/strong> course does <strong>not<\/strong> satisfy this requirement:<ul><li>SafeSport Trained &#8211; U.S. Soccer Federation (yr 1) &#8211; <em>this is also referred to as &#8220;Core&#8221; training<\/em><\/li><li>SafeSport Refresher 1 (yr 2)<\/li><li>SafeSport Refresher 2 (yr 3)<\/li><li>SafeSport Refresher 3 (yr 4)<\/li><li>Repeat from SafeSport Trained &#8211; U.S. Soccer Federation \/ Core (yr 5)<br \/><br \/><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Applicable to<\/span>:<ul><li><strong>Youth<\/strong> players who will be 18+ years old during the applicable registration year (on or before July 31, 2023, for the 2022-23 season)<\/li><li><strong>Adult <\/strong>players who are on a team with a Minor Athlete (anyone who is under 18 years old).<br \/><br \/><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Timeframe<\/span>:<ul><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">For 2023-24<\/span>: Must be completed on or after June 1, 2023.<\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">For 2024-25<\/span>: Must be completed on or after June 1, 2024.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">A player&#8217;s registration will not be valid, a passcard will not be issued, and the player will not appear on an Official Roster until SafeSport training (and any other applicable requirement) is completed and approved in the player&#8217;s account. That means some 16- and 17-year-olds will be required to complete SafeSport Training with parental consent.<\/p><ul><li><u>Completed by<\/u>: The player being registered, with parental consent for those who are under 18 at the time of completion.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li><u>Instructions &#8211;
