The course was an 11v11 blended course in New York, NY.<\/p><p>&#8220;We are extremely excited for this opportunity with US Club Soccer and\u00a0U.S. Soccer to provide a coaching course as one more way for our young girls in the club to develop a new skillset that will not only enhance their knowledge of the game but will also teach valuable lessons such as responsibility and leadership,&#8221; said Ali Rubnitz, Executive Director of Gotham Girls FC.<\/p><p>Gotham Girls FC was created over a decade ago to create a safe and welcoming environment for young female soccer players in New York City. The\u00a0club&#8217;s goal is to provide a holistic athletic experience for all young female soccer players, starting on the field with developmental soccer, travel soccer, and expanding off the field to college research courses, leadership programs\u00a0and more.<\/p><p>Gotham Girls FC\u00a0recognizes the disproportionate amount of women in coaching and\u00a0stands with U.S. Soccer in their goal to increase the number of women in coaching in the coming years.
